These days I am a lead Flex and Actionscript 3 RIA Developer. I have a passion for coding and working on multi-media experiences in the Flash Player, witch all started around around the year 2002. I started out developing web sites and promotional projects for many of the bands and record labels in Nashville TN. This quickly allowed me the experience of developing for clients that had super tight deadlines and team collaboration is key in making the projects meet there goals.

After devoting so much of my time developing Flash sites and applications I took that a step farther and started doing real development on the Flash platform using the Flex framework. This has also lead me in to developing in other languages such as Jave, PHP, Groovy, and Coldfusion.

Over the last couple of years some of the applications that I have gotten to develop are things like Chat using Flex and XMPP server, Live Video streaming applications using Flex and Red5 (and FMS server written in Java), scheduling app using Flex and AMFPHP, and the usual multi-media apps using sound, video playback and other types of media.

I run “the” Nashville Flash Platform User Group
I stay really involved in the Flash and Flex community by running the Nashville Flash Platform User Group and posting development examples and tutorials to my blog.

Being a developer and using my skills to solve problems is the coolest thing ever and I love what I do.
